Sloop "Driver" which arrived in Bermuda on 23 January, censored by the Vice-Admiralty Court, marked on reverse "opened in Bermuda" and numbered on face "1/23 4", the letter subsequently released and carried by warship directly to England or to Halifax and then by packet and eventually forwarded to Holland under a flag of truce.
