Comprising three profile portrait silhouettes, each to sinister, the first hollow cut and inscribed on verso, "My Sister/Mary Ann Beauman/Born in Boston/Oct. 20, 1801/Died Nov. 2, 1827,"; the second hollow cut with inked details, impressed lower right "King" and inscribed on verso, "Mr. Enoch Jones"; the third hollow cut with inked details, impressed lower right "RACHE'S PATENT" and inscribed on verso, "James F. Deering/Born April 9, 1800-/Died March 2, 1830"--3 5/8in. length the largest

The portrait silhouette impressed "KING" probably refers to William King (active c. 1804-1809 in New England) who took profiles of residents of Salem and Boston, Massachusettes, Hanover and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and as far north as Halifax, Novia Scotia.
