Unused on cover / entire letter 1862 (27 Sept.) envelope to U.S.A. with lined advertisment for the Royal Victoria Hotel across face panel, bearing 1862 perf. compound 11½, 12 compound with 11 at foot, 4d. dull rose [60] neatly cancelled "A05" and showing "NEW-YORK SHIP LETTER/5" c.d.s. below, Bahamas double-arc d.s on reverse; attractive.
