The rectangular molded plinth centering three brass urn finials resting on rectangular fluted plinths above a conforming rectangular hood with hinged door centering a bell-shaped glass enclosing a conforming tin dial face painted with Arabic numeral chapter ring over a gilt-wreath surrounding the name, "Walter Cornell/Newport," above a cavetto and bead mid-molding over a conforming case with brass-banded edges over a line-inlaid and shaped skirt, on flaring French feet--34in. high, 12¾in. wide, 6½in. deep
