Whatman dated 1838, with wide margins, the top right corner re-attached (backed), an occasional and unobtrusive surface scratch, pale staining showing through from the reverse, a few small tears and two tiny paper losses at the right margin edge, pale time staining, old binding holes and accompanying minor tears and losses at the top margin edge, pale staining on the reverse, otherwise in good condition
