A late 19th Century stylised model of a Dutch 50-gun armed blackwall trader
With masts, yards, standing and running rigging, foot ropes, hair rails, bitts, catheads, anchors with bound wooden stocks, belaying rails and pins, companionways, hatches, capstan, aft superstructure including poop deck. The hull carved from the solid with further carved stern and quarter detailing, glazed windows, open gunports, is finished in black and white with 'gilded' decoration
