A finely carved 1:10 scale static display model of the American speed boat Typhoon of circa 1929
Built by H.J. Brandwijk
In mahogany and lime with external chrome plated details including fore mast, cleats, fairleads, lamps, two-tone horn, searchlight, split wind shields fore and aft, forward cockpit with steering wheel, instruments, leather covered seating, mid two-seat cockpit, air inlets, fuel tank caps, hinged engine covers opening to reveal eight-cylinder engine, aft single seat cockpit, side mounted twin exhaust pipes, pennant, rudder and single shaft three-blade propellor. The framed and planked hull finished in white beneath the blue boot line and varnish, mounted on two turned chrome-plated columns on a display base
