A 3cm. diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve chromolithographed gores, the equatorial and prime meridian graduated in degrees, the ecliptic graduated in days of the houses of the Zodiac with symbols, the oceans showing ocean currents, steamship routes with ports of arrival and departure, flying boat routes, Zeppelin routes and submarine cable lines, the continents showing mountains, rivers, towns, cities, caravan routes, railway and telegraph lines, further showing signs for areas of production for export, German colonies also shown (some small areas of discolouration) with punched brass meridian circle and horizon ring supported by four curved brass quadrant supports and brass column an the back of green-painted brass figure of an eagle with spread wings atop a craggy outcrop, on turned ebonised plinth base
