A 19cm. diameter terrestrial globe made up of twelve coloured printed paper gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated in degrees, the ecliptic graduated but unlabelled, the oceans showing ocean currents and German steam ship lines, the continents with a few naton states coloured in outline, Germany heavily coloured in outline in blue and Austria-Hungary likewise in red (old rubbing and discolouration with a large old repair to Asia and the Indian Ocean) held aloft on a stylised branch by a bronzed spelter figure of a putti knealing on a foliate decorated and pierced plinth base
