The original, executed circa 1520, on panel, 75 x 92 cm, is in the Alte Pinakothek, Munich (H.E. Wethey, The Paintings of Titian, I, 1969, p.176, no.X-27, fig.207, rejecting the traditional attribution to Titian and suggesting a tentative attribution to Francesco Vecellio).
