The rectangular toprail above an arched, pierced back with spirally-turned spindles, above a red velvet seat, on waved X-shaped supports joined by a carved stretcher, restorations; A stained beechwood chair with a waved toprail carved with foliage and dated 1632, above three horizontal splats carved with further foliage, the padded seat covered in polychrome material, on ring-turned legs joined by baluster box-stretchers; And a rosewood chair with shaped toprail carved with a flower-filled basket flanked by birds, surmounted by turned finials, the pierced back filled with spirally-turned spindels, above the caned seat, on turned legs joined by bobbin-turned box-stretchers (3)
