The arched hood with outset columns, with conforming pilasters flanking the arched trunk door, the panelled plinth on bun feet, the cream dial with painted seasonal spandrels, subsidiary seconds and date rings to the centre signed J. Elliot/Blyth, the painted arch with an automaton of two sailing vessels, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement
