Maiden and Deer

Satish Sinha studied painting under Percy Brown and Jamini Prakash Ganguly. He did not complete his education and took up work as a sharebroker and insurance agent. Later in life he returned to art as headteacher at the Government Art School where Mukul Dey was the principal. He eventually became the principal of the Indian College of Art and Draughtsmanship.
