The rectangular cornice above a pair of geometrically-glazed doors, the lower section with secretaire-drawer, enclosing a green baize-lined writing-surface and a fitted interior with satinwood-fronted drawers and pigeon-holes, above three graduated drawers, on bracket feet, with depository label for 'Mallet' to the reverse and with chalk inscription 'MALLET'
