A SWISS ORMOLU GRANDE SONNERIE PENDULE D'OFFICIER
19th Century
The arched rectangular case with circular white enamel dial with arabic chapters and signed 'Courvoisier & Compe..' and hinged glazed engine-turned bezel, the sides with music trophies, with pinched rectangular platform above the dial with foliate handle and crossed cornucopiae, on paw feet, the case, base and movement stamped '11258', with lever to the underside and engraved 'Grande Sonerie [sic] Petite Sonerie [sic] Silence', with modern winder, the movement with later escapement
