Lot Essay

A set of twelve mahogany dining-chairs of this model, was sold anonymously, Sotheby's London, 7 November 1997, lot 45.
A related set of chairs along with stools and card-tables en suite, almost certainly supplied to George Weller-Poley, Esq. for Boxted Hall, Suffolk, were sold by the Trustees of the J.H. Weller-Poley Will Trust, in these Rooms, 3 July 1997, lots 20-23.
