TWO FLEMISH TAPESTRY CUSHIONS
Late 18th early 19th Century
Woven in wools and silks, one depicting a cartouche with a dog chasing two birds within an open landscape and to top and bottom with foliate scrolls, within a brown band; the other with a band of foliate scrolls and top and bottom with a metal-thread band, each within later tassels and a cream silk backing, two different sizes, the tapestry panels reused probably from chair back covers, areas of reweaving and patching
