The rectangular caned back and seat with a squab-cushion covered in green cotton, the channelled toprail centred by a two-headed eagle in a cartouche with foliate scrolls flanked by an acanthus leaf, the waved seat-rail centred by a scallop-shell, above cabriole legs and acanthus-wrapped C-scroll feet joined by an X-shaped stretcher, restorations, the back seat-rail later, the arms probably previously upholstered
