A pair of similar 18th Century tables with scrolled supports were supplied to the Royal Court, Stockholm in the 1770s (E. Fischer, Svenska Mbler I Bild, Stockholm, 1938, p. 91), whilst a comparable table sent to Gripsholm in the 1770s (B. Vahlne, Mbel-Historia Paa Gripsholm, Stockholm, 1986, p. 103, no. 1362), signed by the gilder Adam Florin, also bears similar C-scrolls and floral garlands that are a more typical feature of rococo console tables.
