A SWEDISH ORMOLU-MOUNTED ROCK CRYSTAL SIX-LIGHT CHANDELIER
Late 18th early 19th Century
Hung overall with facetted pendants and droplets in a trellis pattern, the central ring hung with lion's masks issuing facetted pikes and branches with drip-pans and nozzles, with C-scrolled branches issuing swags, the top corona with conforming hangings centred by a further three-tiered section of droplets, missing one central section, minor losses and replacements with later loss to the central shaft and with a restored section to the top of the shaft, fitted for electricity
