A LOUIS XIV WALNUT HIGH BACK ARMCHAIR
The rectangular padded back and seat covered in close-nailed petit and gros-point needlework depicting a dancing couple with a musician before a tree within a shaped cartouche, the seat depicting two birds among flowers and branches within a conforming cartouche on a floral and foliate-scrolled background, the shaped arm supports above shepherd's crook legs and an H-shaped stretcher, the left front leg with restored break, partially rerailed, the needlework probably contemporary and with restorations
