(One map torn along fold.) Contemporary cloth-backed patterned boards, Provenance: British Graham Land Expedition bookplate with ownership stamp of W.L.S. Fleming. The four chapters embody the physiographical results of the explorations of the Northern Party of Scott's last expedition, publication having been delayed by the war. 'The only things that have made publication possible have been the notes made, and to some extent elaborated before the summer of 1914 and the photographic record which has been preserved' (p.ix).
