Patent single-double trigger action, gold-plated triggers with double rolled-edge triggerguard, pinless lockplates, best close foliate-scroll engraving, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, boldly-figured stock with butt-plate, the chopper-lump barrels with matt Churchill-rib and scroll-engraved breech-ends

The gun was completed circa 1932 and is recorded in the maker's books as being fitted with 'new repeating triggers'. This attractive and highly utilitarian feature is likely to be a Churchill patent and was probably introduced circa 1930. In it, both triggers can be used as self-contained but non-selective single-triggers, the mechanism being operated on an involuntary or three-pull system
