AN HISTORIC DIAMOND AND GEM-SET NECKLACE FROM THE COURT OF LAHORE FORMED BY 'MAHARAJAH RUNJEET SINGH'
Comprising eleven double-sided foliate panels set with rubies and emeralds to one side and table-cut diamonds to the other with polychrome enamel detail, suspending a seed pearl and emerald bead fringe from a two-row seed pearl necklace, with a pair of ear-pendants ensuite, Lahore, early 19th century, 40.0cm long, in fitted case by Frazer & Haws stating, "From the collection of the court of Lahore formed by H.H. the Maharajah Runjeet Singh & lastly worn by her Highness The late Maharanee Jeudan Kower." (two stones deficient from ear-pendants, ear fittings deficient)
