Of typical cylindrical form with flaring rim, the exterior painted in gold around a series of four portrait roundels depicting ladies in European dress within applied turquoise and red beaded glass borders, divided by paired floral sprays, between borders of turquoise cartouches filled with dense floral sprays, one roundel with commissioning inscription, another with the date 1286, the interior enamelled mottled turquoise, the base later filled, areas of restoration mostly restricted to borders
