PROBABLY MESHED, SOUTH EAST PERSIA, FIRST HALF 17TH CENTURY
With rounded body flattened on each side rising to a tubular neck, the body moulded and left in reserve against the blue glaze with a design of a proliferation of trees and flowering shrubs together with perching birds around the figure of a European and his diminutive woman on one side and a hunter shooting at a deer on the other, the neck now missing and replaced with white metal, body cracked and stained
