The ivory field with overall herati pattern around a charcoal-black and shaded brick-red double pole-medallion of similar design containing an ivory floral centrepiece, the charcoal-black spandrels similar, in a shaded brick-red border of polychrome turtle-palmettes and angular flowering vine between floral meander, running-dog and barber-pole stripes, plain outer stripe, commissioning and date cartouche at one end, multicoloured silk warp, slight loss at each end, slight even wear, slight stain.
