This rug is also signed with the typical angular kufic 'Zareh' at the base of the central palmette. Although this lot and the previous appear to be a pair there exist minute differences. This one has slightly brighter red in the field. There is also a very pale pink centre to the two small flatwoven rosettes in the central palmette as opposed to the bright crimson centre on the same feature in the preceding lot.
