Lot 31 two corroded capsules, three labels badly bin-soiled. Levels top-shoulder or better. Lot 32 four corroded capsules. Levels: nine upper, two mid/upper and one mid-shoulder. Lot 33 badly bin-soiled labels. Levels: eight mid and four mid/low-shoulder
Tasting note: a good period for Calon, a chteau much liked by English shippers and their customers. Noted fairly recently, still fairly deep in colour, lovely bouquet, touch of sweetness, soft, vestiges of its life supporting tanning and acidity. M.B.
