The waisted case with glazed side panels, the pediment surmounted with the figure of a youth blowing a hunting horn, the door arch modelled with hunting dogs and a stag, with relief mount below of a huntsman and his dog tackling a wild boar, on scroll feet modelled to the top with further dogs, the cast ormolu dial with a scrolling border and individual white enamel Roman cartouche chapters, with outside Arabic five minutes, enamel centre (hairline crack) signed Paillard Paris, the twin barrel movement with verge escapement and silk suspension, with countwheel strike on bell, the backplate with repeat signature; some losses to veneers
