A postcard, printed on one side ZUID-AFRIK REPUBLICK/BRIEFKAART, with printed 1d stamp, franked JOHANNESBURG ZAR, 12 Sep. H 97, addressed to Mr. Sigmund Polsenfels, Bahnhofstrasse 4, Augsburg, Bavaria (and also bearing AUGSBURG postmark dated 4 Oct), the reverse side bearing a photograph showing troops captured by the Boers during the Jameson Raid being paraded through the city and with the caption MARCH PAST COMMISSIONER STREET.
