"The Gram" was edited by the Earl of Rosslyn, and issue No. 1 was printed in May 1900. With the occupation of Pretoria at the end of that month and release of the British prisoners, it naturally ceased publication. Rosslyn's introduction to this facsimile edition gives interesting details of how the original magazine was printed.
