A quantity of china items, consisting of a sepia tile with effigy of Lord Roberts in relief, two white tiles, bearing portraits of Buller and MacDonald respectively, a circular Lustreware dish, with portrait of Sir George White, three mugs, two showing Roberts and Baden-Powell respectively, the third entitled SOUTH AFRICA 1899-1902 and decorated with patriotic emblems, and a circular white plate inscribed CHEDDAR REJOICINGS, with VR cypher and names of British victories to PRETORIA 1900; various metal items, consisting of a Queen Victoria Christmas Chocolate Tin (empty), a cast-iron silhouette, 8in. (21cm.) high overall, of Dr. Jameson on horseback (tail of horse missing), a cast-iron stand for a flat-iron, in the form of crossed swords and a carbine, the outer edge inscribed BRITAIN'S MIGHT AS IRON STANDS; a brass stand bearing the incised figure of the GENTLEMAN IN KHARKI; a small painted money-box in the form of a caricature of President Kruger; a matchbox-holder embossed with the head of Lord Roberts; a small card commemorating Dr. Jameson and two cigarette-cards, one of MacDonald, the other of White.
