A brass case for a 35mm. shell, the base bored to fit a smaller cartridge-case, and with a bullet attached inside by a short chain to form a small hand-bell, the side engraved, 'Presented to T.J. Griffiths as a memento of Paardeberg February 27th 1900 by Private W. Moyses No. 8851 1st Batt. Scots Guards'
