A coloured print, 18.75in. by 28in., entitled 'The Heroes of Ladysmith - Meeting of Generals Buller and White 1st March 1900', showing the two commanders shaking hands, surrounded by cheering troops and civilians, with a numbered key showing landmarks and other items of interest. The print laid down on a mount and in a glazed frame on the back of which is pasted a printed sheet entitled, 'Bacon's Series of Battle Pictures No. 9', giving a short account of the siege of Ladysmith and notes on the careers of Generals Buller and White.
