Colonel Sir Hamilton Ashley Ballance, [K.B.E.], [C.B.]., was a distinguished Surgeon and Officer of the Territorial Force during the Great War. He served as a Consulting Surgeon in France and was created a K.B.E. and C.B. in 1919 as well as being three times Mentioned in Despatches.
