The Imperial Yeomanry Scouts were a small unit raised at Cape Town in March 1900 and disbanded at Johannesburg in December 1900. During its short life two Troopers earned the Distinguished Conduct Medal. Less than 50 Medals were issued named to the Imperial Yeomanry Scouts.
