Captain H.P. Wolff was severely wounded and taken prisoner at Brakspruit on 13.11.1901. He served as the Quarter-Master Sergeant of 73rd (Paget's Horse) Company and was later commissioned in the 2nd Battalion, Imperial Yeomanry. Wolff was engaged in South Africa from 24.4.1900 to 31.5.1902.
