Decorated to the centre with a star-shaped panel, one showing insects and a grasshopper, the other a single grasshopper perched on rockwork, surrounded on the sides with moulded roundels enclosing peach, Symbols and flowers (rim frittings)

Provenance
Recovered from the wreck of the Dutch East Indiaman 'Witte Leeuw', sunk off the Island of St. Helena in 1613.
