Two four-case lacquer inro
The netsuke signed Motoyuki, 19th Century
The first decorated in gold and iroe hiramakie, takamakie and hirame on a roironuri ground with pavilion near a tree and a bird in flight on one side, the reverse with a riverbank, a boat and two birds, black lacquered wood ojime, mask ivory netsuke (cracks, some loss to the lacquer, rubbing); the second inro with a flowering plum tree in iroe takamakie, hirame and gold on a kimpun-ground, nashiji interior, with colourfully decorated porcelain ojime and ivory netsuke with a beaver on bamboo (rubbed, damages)
