A four-case lacquer inro and two netsuke
Late Edo/Meiji period, the kagamibuta signed Tenmin, the netsuke signed Masanao and Tomokazu
The inro decorated with a coiling dragon, possibly in horn, amongst clouds above a stormy sea in gold takamakie, hiramakie and hirame, nashiji to the interior, top and bottom, the ojime in cloisonn enamel with stylised flowers, the kagamibuta ivory netsuke with a metal plate of a raging wave below the moon (some damages), 8.1 cm. high; an ivory netsuke of a sleeping boar on a bed of foliage, its back turned to the right, 4.8 cm. long; an ivory netsuke of a seated rat nibbling at its front paws, 4.8 cm. long.
