Each of hexagonal form and painted in underglaze blue, iron-red and gilt with alternating panels of a mythical animal and a Daoist emblem amongst floral sprays (4)
Provenance
Each piece engraved with the inventory number 'N=31-+', formerly in the collection of Augustus the Strong in Dresden.
