A set of five Imari plates painted at the centre with birds flying and perched in flowering branches, below radiating panels of prunus and peony reserved on a trellis-pattern ground, 22.6 cm. diam.; and a set of five Samson Japanese Imari plates, decorated with hydrangea, peony and chrysanthemum within shaped panels, 23 cm. diam. (one with cracks) (10)
