A famille rose spittoon and a set of four plates
Late 18th Century
The spittoon decorated to the exterior with scattered sprays of small pink roses, below an elaborate composite border around the widely flaring rim, 10.2 cm. high; and a set of four plates decorated with similar flowers within scrolling surrounds around the well and rim, 23 cm. diam. (small rim chips and cracks, one plate with rim repair) (5)
