An assorted lot of famille rose plates
18th Century
Comprising a set of five plates painted in famille rose and underglaze blue enriched with gilt, showing a grasshopper, butterfly and bird among flowering branches of peony, chrysanthemum and bamboo, 22.6 cm. diam.; and three various plates decorated predominantly with pink and puce roses surrounded by garlands, circa 23.4 cm. diam. (some chips and cracks) (8)
