The first late Ming Dynasty, the second 19th Century
A bronze figure of a guardian standing inclined forwards with hands held in anjali mudra, wearing a cloth gathered with a cord under the protruding belly, the celestial scarf billowing behind the head and continuing around the arms to the base, traces of gilt lacquer, 33 cm. high; and a bronze censer shaped as a detachable figure of the the recluse Jin Gao seated the back of a large carp (the Fish King) with a scroll in his hands, 28 cm. long (2)
