A Large Porcelain Bottle
Arita Ware, Edo Period (19th Century), Fuku (Happiness) Mark in Red Enamel on Base
Of pear form with tall, cylindrical neck ending in a rolled lip, painted in polychrome enamels and gilt over clear glaze with three closed and three open folding fans decorated with flowers or a phoenix, and with random cloud clusters on the neck and shoulder, a single ring of green enamel above the foot
