Meiji Period (Late 19th Century), Black Enamel Mark Nishida Zo
Each painted in polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear crackled glaze with numerous butterflies among chrysanthemums on a ground of gilt clouds, the shoulder decorated with gilded clouds containing frolicking Chinese boys, the neck with two gilt crests containing a pair of stylized bats on a band of extended floral lappets and the foot with a band of florets
