Koryo Dynasty (12th Century)
The circular cup moulded in six petal lobes and incised on the exterior with six peony sprays below a narrow incised line, also incised in the cavetto with a radiating, circular flowerhead; the stand circular set on five trefoil supports and moulded on the stepped cup-support with a ring of overlapping stiff leaves; the cup and stand also applied with bright celadon glaze, pooling very thickly in a large circle in the well of the cup, with emerald patches and variegated crackle, three spur marks on bases of each
