Of lantern form set on a ring foot and with upright, circular rim, painted in cobalt blue under clear glaze with four large landscape medallions reminiscent of the Chinese 'Eight Views of the Xiao-Xiang:' fishing boats, cliffs and the sun setting on distant mountains; a hilltop pavillion, four anchored boats, a skiff offshore, hills across the water and the haloed moon; a flock of geese crossing over fields before a silhouette of mountains and the rising moon; and a crane flying over rice fields separated by two ridges, the neck also painted in underglaze-blue with two lines and the foot with a single line
